What does "human unity" actually mean to you?

Introduction to the topic: This citizen science study invites people from all walks of life to help define "human unity," a vital concept whose meaning changes deeply depending on our unique cultural backgrounds, personal histories, and lived experiences - whether that means surviving war, facing discrimination and societal exclusion, or growing up in a society where equality, equity, and inclusion are the everyday norm. It also explores how our backgrounds shape how we view peace; for some, peace simply means a temporary break from conflict, whereas for others, it means a "permanent peace" built on deep, lasting structural change and inner harmony. Because maybe human unity is interpreted so differently around the world, we must collectively investigate how it is truly understood, felt, and realised if we are to ever bridge our differences and build a genuinely cooperative future. By gathering these diverse global perspectives, this research directly honors the foundational mission of Auroville, as “a site of material and spiritual researches for a living embodiment of an actual human unity” (The Auroville Charter).
