Introduction to the topic:
Auroville is often understood through simple labels like "pioneers" and "newcomers," but the lived reality is far more nuanced, spanning early pioneers, later pioneers, and every generation in between, since everyone here is called to be a pioneer in their own right. This study explores how our individual and collective sense of purpose, responsibility, and pioneering spirit evolves over time, capturing the diverse human experience of participating in a living, long-term ideal.
